Dress Code

Dressed for Dance Class Success!

Based on the timeless traditions of classical dance training,

our studios follow a structured dress code.

An established dress code:

  • allows our dancers to focus on movement without concern of pants falling down, shirts riding up, hair in their face, etc
  • allows our instructors to see and correct for posture and alignment for safe instruction of skills
  • prepares our dancers to continue their training comfortably and confidently in any future setting

Please no Target ballet slippers, as they don't fit well.

"Stelle" (available on Amazon) don't seem to fit well either, although their "premium" version may be better.

Recommended shoe brands

Bloch, Capezio, Sansha, Danshuz, SoDanca, Theatricals

*Dance Shoes should never be worn outside, so we don't track parking lot grit (or worse!) onto our studio floors.

They will also last longer if reserved for in-studio use or practice only*

Move With Me & Tiny Tippy Toes

Comfortable clothing to move in, and bare feet or socks are fine....

If they're channeling their inner ballerina, any color leotard with tights is fine, too!

If you're wanting dancewear selections that will carry to the next age group, pink leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet slippers suggested....
